Mark David Severi
4/2/57 ~ 4/20/10

Surrounded by his loving family and friends, Mark passed away peacefully at home at the young age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Denise; beloved son of Lois and the late Richard Severi; devoted father to Jenna and Michael Severi and Paul and Stephanie McManus; dear brother to Lori Yock and Scott (Caren) Severi; brother-in-law to Michael (Paula) Kavanaugh and Jeannette (Jim) Ryan; treasured uncle of many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his canine companions, Boots and Bailey.

He began his lifelong career in the grocery business at QFI 37 years ago. Mark enjoyed his last ten years as Store Director of Draeger’s Market in Menlo Park. With his quiet strength and dry sense of humor, Mark left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was an avid Bay Area sports fan, a fantasy sports enthusiast, and he enjoyed a good round of golf. Every summer Mark could be found with his family and occasionally his dogs relaxing on the beach at Camp Richardson in Lake Tahoe. He will be loved forever and greatly missed.

Services to be held at St. Pius Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City.
